At  NCSC, they fly their Geek Flag high! The company was founded by a Tolkien loving, Green Ajah wannabe, history nerd, orbiter of the Whedonverse, with no qualms about quoting Obi-Wan to get out of a speeding ticket… who also happens to be a woman.

I am proud and honored to have the chance for Team Unicorn to team up with NCSC to bring you the Unicorn Kisses Giftset, a combo of four tinted lip balms, with four unique and shimmery color combinations, each named after a member of Team Unicorn (In tubes made of 100% post consumer recycled material, because unicorns love the Earth!).

30% of online sales of the giftset will go to benefit the ASPCA, a charity loved by geek guys and gals alike.

Team Unicorn at Stan Lee’s Comikaze!!

Team Unicorn at Comikaze!!

Have you missed your Unicorns? Been waiting patiently for the next chance to high five all four of us standing in a row, howling like wolves at the top of our lungs? Well my Southern California and all surrounding area friends, you can get your Unicorn fix this weekend at Stan Lee’s Comikaze, LA’s largest pop-culture convention, owned by comic legend Stan “The Man” Lee and Horror icon, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and a few other crazy people. You couldn’t find more fun under one roof  if you strapped cute cuddly animals to the backs of Koopa Troopas and watched them race for their lives while cannons shot glitter in to the audience. Team Unicorn will be there in full force with a booth full of fun stuff for you take home and a signing on Sunday at 11:30am. Play Magic the Gathering? Maybe you should challenge us while you’re there?

WATCH OUT BOSTON! WE’RE TAKING OVER PAX EAST!

Are you ready East Coast? Because Unicorns are coming to invade your lands and we don’t take hostages. Though I bet you’d like it if we did!

April 6 – April 8, Team Unicorn will be at PAX East playing glorious, glorious Magic the Gathering. That’s right. You can challenge any member of Team Unicorn you wish to a deadly friendly game of Magic the Gathering. You know you want to. So come walk the floor. Play some Magic. Find that action figure you’ve been searching for for months already-it’s time you finally add it to your collection. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

TEAM UNICORN @ EMERALD CITY COMIC CON!

Can’t sleep? Losing interest in life? Did you forget to feed your fish and now poor Gills is floating dead in a fishbowl? You are suffering from what is commonly known as Unicorn Withdrawals. And I know the cure: googly eyes. Just kidding, or AM I?!

Seriously folks, you can get your Team Unicorn fix at the 2012 Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, Washington, this weekend.

Join us on Saturday March 31st at 2:00pm in Room 2AB for our panel with XBOX & LucasFilm as we discuss all things Star Wars: Kinect. We will be demonstrating the game for you, and answering any questions your little hearts desire. You can find us before and after the panel at the Star Wars booth, or roaming the floor tracking down very important toys and awesome cosplayers to photograph.

ALIEN BEACH CRASHERS

Team Unicorn is back with a new spin on the classic beach party movies of the 60’s. This comedic homage, “Alien Beach Crashers” tells the story of pesky intergalactic invaders ruining the grooviest beach party ever! The girls of Team Unicorn play classic roles from “America’s Sweetheart” Annette Funicello to the quirky Professor’s daughter who’s never been kissed. Guest starring Zachary Levi (Chuck), Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Abraham Benrubi (ER, Robot Chicken) and Magda Apanowicz (Caprica).

RILEAH VANDERBILT

Like the Black Lion to Voltron, Rileah Vanderbilt is the official den mother of Team Unicorn.  A master cos-player, her closet is more full of anime and super hero costumes than couture.  An accomplished FPS gamer, Rileah has turned down dozens of recruitment opportunities from international black-ops organizations to continue working on such films as Frozen & Hatchet, not to mention the geek girl group she co-created, Team Unicorn.

TARDIS, Milynn has been see everywhere from G4 to Machinima. She’s had roles on The
Guild, Sassy Gay Friend, Weeding Out and many more. But most importantly she’s one of the
co-creators of Team Unicorn, sucka!

MICHELE BOYD

Unicorns

Co-creator of the girl geek foursome Team Unicorn, Michele Boyd grew up teaching herself to write in Tolkien runes and waking up early to make sure she didn’t miss Sailor Moon. In addition to Team Unicorn projects, Michele has also had recurring roles on the webseries The Guild and SOLO the Series. Past TV credits include How I Met Your Mother, Big Time Rush and Sons of Anarchy as well as the SyFy movie Battle of Los Angeles.

Manetheren born, Clare Grant only uses her Ta’veren influence for good. Never evil. When
she is not slaying dragons, piloting stealth jets, tending to Farmville, or playing Dance Central
dressed as her hero, Sailor Moon, you can find her in such films as Walk the Line, Black
Snake Moan, The Graves & others. Past television guest, recurring and starring roles include
CSI:MIami, Robot Chicken, Masters of Horror, MAD, and many more, including some big
surprise roles coming up soon. But she is most proud to be founding member and co-creator of Team Unicorn.
