Watch out Boston! We’re taking over PAX East!

Are you ready East Coast? Because Unicorns are coming to invade your lands and we don’t take hostages. Though I bet you’d like it if we did!

April 6 – April 8, Team Unicorn will be at PAX East playing glorious, glorious Magic the Gathering. That’s right. You can challenge any member of Team Unicorn you wish to a deadly friendly game of Magic the Gathering. You know you want to. So come walk the floor. Play some Magic. Find that action figure you’ve been searching for for months already-it’s time you finally add it to your collection. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

Can’t sleep? Losing interest in life? Did you forget to feed your fish and now poor Gills is floating dead in a fishbowl? You are suffering from what is commonly known as Unicorn Withdrawals. And I know the cure: googly eyes. Just kidding, or AM I?!

Seriously folks, you can get your Team Unicorn fix at the 2012 Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, Washington, this weekend.

Join us on Saturday March 31st at 2:00pm in Room 2AB for our panel with XBOX & LucasFilm as we discuss all things Star Wars: Kinect. We will be demonstrating the game for you, and answering any questions your little hearts desire. You can find us before and after the panel at the Star Wars booth, or roaming the floor tracking down very important toys and awesome cosplayers to photograph.

Are you missing your dose of Unicorn sparkle? Playing ‘G33k & G4M3R Girls” on repeat? The Team has not forsaken you! The girls are busily working on a Big Secret Project (stay tuned!!!).  Below we listed some of the individual projects the girls are involved in so you can get your fix!

Team Unicorn will also be appearing at the upcoming Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle March 30 – April 1st and at PAX East in Boston, MA April 6-8th!

Clare Grant

  • On March 2, 2012 Clare’s recurring bounty hunter character “Latts Razzi” was debuted on Cartoon Network’s  Star Wars: The Clone Wars . The character was even drawn in her likeness! Action figure coming soon.
  • Is the lead (Martha Collins) in the feature film The Insomniac., also starring Danny Trejo, John Heard & Eddy Salazar. Directed by Monty Miranda, coming out in 2012.
  • Playing Beverly in Joshua Tree 1951: A Portrait of James Dean, shot on 35mm B&W film. Directed by Matthew Mishory and starring James Preston, coming out in 2012.
  • Starring in the upcoming Robot Chicken: DC Comics special. In production now! Coming out in 2012.
  • Just wrapped a sequel to the award winning Star Wars fan film, Saber, that she created, produced and stars in with Rileah Vanderbilt. Set to release on May the 4th (be with you).
  • Has two features and another webseries set to film or be released in 2012.

 

 

Milynn Sarley

  • Her role as “Ferrari” on How I Met Your Mother is now recurring! Check her out on ABC!
  • Co-hosting a new show alongside Daniel Logan (Boba Fett from both Attack of the Clones and The Clone Wars) called Lairs. Described as “A geek version of cribs with its own unique twist”, stay tuned to GeekNation.com for episodes!
  • Just appeared in a short for Roddenberry Productions called White Room 02B3. It’s a film that is the first of it’s kind as it was shot using the first, fully seamless 360 camera. Directed by Greg Aronowitz, and starring Breckin Meyer (Franklin & Bash, Roadtrip) and David Blue (Stargate SGU, Ugly Betty), etc.
  • Producing a Star Wars fan film that will be out in time for Star Wars Celebration!

 

 

Rileah Vanderbilt

  • Just wrapped the horror film The Pandora Experiment with Michael Dorn (Star Trek: TNG) and Noah Hathaway (The Neverending Story)!
  • Just wrapped a sequel to the award winning Star Wars fan film, Saber, that she created, produced and stars in with Clare Grant. Set to release on May the 4th (be with you).
  • Attached to a top secret film, set to begin shooting this summer.
